ASSEDEV is an association committed to protecting and restoring the environment, addressing climate change, preserving biodiversity, and promoting sustainable development. It brings together knowledge, citizen engagement, innovation, and action in the field, with one ambition: turning commitments into lasting results for communities and future generations.
Our Origins
ASSEDEV was founded with the ambition of building practical, meaningful and lasting environmental action, bringing together citizens, economic stakeholders, institutions and local communities around major ecological challenges. The association is built on a conviction: environmental protection can only deliver lasting results when knowledge, awareness, innovation and action in the field move forward together. From Bourg-de-Péage, ASSEDEV aims to contribute to this momentum by progressively developing programmes and projects that serve the environment and future generations.
Our Purpose
In response to environmental and climate challenges, ASSEDEV seeks to help develop practical, accessible and lasting solutions. Our purpose is to bridge knowledge and action, mobilise citizens and local stakeholders, and support initiatives that protect the environment while preparing for the future of generations to come.

Our Governance
ASSEDEV is guided by a responsible governance framework structured in accordance with its statutes. Its governing bodies provide strategic direction, management and oversight, while ensuring that the association operates in accordance with its purpose, values and principles of transparency, independence and accountability.
General Assembly
The association’s sovereign body, the General Assembly sets the main strategic directions, approves the annual accounts and budget, and elects the members of the Executive Board.
Executive Board
As the association’s executive body, the Executive Board oversees day-to-day management, implements the decisions of the General Assembly and ensures the proper functioning of ASSEDEV.
Board of Directors
As the association develops, the General Assembly may decide to establish a Board of Directors and entrust it with specific responsibilities.
Committees & Working Groups
ASSEDEV may establish committees, working groups or advisory bodies to mobilise relevant expertise and provide guidance for its actions and decision-making.
