ASSEDEV Explains the Science
Making environmental science accessible to inform action.
ASSEDEV selects scientific and institutional research on major environmental issues and makes its key findings accessible to a wider audience.
Each explainer presents the essential findings of the research reviewed, highlights any relevant limitations, and provides ASSEDEV’s perspective on its environmental and societal implications.
The first scientific explainers will be published soon.
Analyses & Positions
ASSEDEV’s perspective on environmental issues.
Beyond sharing knowledge, ASSEDEV contributes to reflection on the policies, practices and choices that shape our relationship with the environment.
Through its analyses and position statements, the association brings available knowledge into dialogue with realities on the ground and, in full independence, puts forward arguments, proposals and recommendations intended to inform debate and action.
ASSEDEV’s first analyses and position statements will be published soon.
Our Editorial Approach
ASSEDEV’s explainers and analyses are based on clearly identified scientific and institutional sources that are systematically referenced.
ASSEDEV takes care to distinguish the findings and conclusions of the works consulted from its own analyses and positions. Its explainers are not a substitute for the original publications, which readers are encouraged to consult.
This approach is guided by three principles: rigour of sources, accessibility of information and independence of analysis.
